Making Your Reservation
We are pleased to rent our holiday home to individuals, couples, families, and groups of mature adults from May through October, for stays of one or more full weeks. Dates which are unavailable are marked in pink on the calendar. Weekly rentals begin and end on Saturdays shown with black print in a white box. We regret that we do not rent our house for parties or other special events involving people other than the listed guests. If in doubt, please ask.When you choose your dates the rental rate, damage deposit and any pet fee (dogs only) will be shown by the booking software. Reservation requests are answered in the order they are received. Once we reply with complete booking information and our custom reservation/registration forms you will have 48 hours to return them and pay your deposit (below) towards the rental fee. The balance of the total rental fee plus the damage deposit will be due 28 days before your arrival. Please see the section on Reservations and Payments below.Reservations and Payments
Booking Deposit: A minimum booking deposit of €500 per week or part thereof is required to reserve accommodation. Balance: The balance of your rental fee is due no later than 28 days before your arrival (unless you book within that period); we reserve the right to cancel your reservation if payment in full is not received by that date. You will be given the date for your final payment by us when you make your reservation.
Damage Deposit: A damage deposit (minimum €500) is payable at the same time you pay your final balance. This deposit will be returned to you within 7 days of your departure provided all conditions have been complied with. The damage deposit may be higher at our discretion.
Pet charge: We charge a small fee to cover extra cleaning if you bring pets (dogs only): €25 per stay for one dog, €40 for two. This is payable with your final payment.
Last minute reservation: If you are booking less than 30 days prior to your arrival date, payment of rent, damage deposit, and pet fee (if applicable) in full are due at the time you make your reservation.
Cancellation: For bookings cancelled 28 days or more before the start of the stay, you receive a 100% refund. For bookings cancelled between 15 and 28 days before the start of the stay, you receive a 50% refund. A cancellation must be made in writing and any cancellation charges will be applied as per the date we receive your written notification of cancellation. Please note that there is no refund within 15 days of your scheduled arrival. We strongly recommend that you take out the cancellation/holiday insurance of your choice.
Cancellation by Owner: The Rental Agreement is made on the understanding that the property and its facilities will be available for the dates stated. In the unlikely event that the property becomes unavailable after you made your reservation, due to circumstances beyond the control of the Owners, the Renter will be advised as early as possible, and will be refunded all monies paid, in full, with the Renter having no further claim against the Owners. Reservations cancelled by us will be refunded in full unless the cancellation is due to dishonesty or deceit on the part of the client, or failure to disclose essential information required on the Rental Agreement.
All transactions will be carried out in Euro unless otherwise agreed. The Guest will be responsible for any and all charges associated with the transfer of funds to or from the Owners. In the case of direct payment to the Owners, if any charges are deducted by the bank or PayPal at our end, you will be informed (with documentation) and the fees will be deducted from your damage deposit at the time of its return.
